Test Engineer

Experience: 3-8 Years

Location: Hyderabad, Pune

Job Description

 Role Purpose

The purpose of this role is to prepare test cases and perform testing of the product/ platform/ solution to be deployed at a client end and ensure its meet 100% quality assurance parameters.

 Do

1. Instrumental in understanding the test requirements and testcase design of the product
   1. Authoring test planning with appropriate knowledge on business requirements and corresponding testable requirements
   2. Implementation of Wipro’s way of testing using Model based testing and achieving efficient way of test generation
   3. Ensuring the test cases are peer reviewed and achieving less rework
   4. Work with development team to identify and capture test cases, ensure version
   5. Setting the criteria, parameters, scope/out-scope of testing and involve in UAT (User Acceptance Testing)
   6. Automate the test life cycle process at the appropriate stages through vb macros, scheduling, GUI automation etc.

1. To design and execute the automation framework and reporting
   1. Develop and automate tests for software validation by setting up of test environments, designing test plans, developing testcases/scenarios/usage cases, and executing these cases
   2. Ensure the test defects raised are as per the norm defined for project / program / account with clear description and replication patterns
   3. Detect bug issues and prepare file defect reports and report test progress
   4. No instances of rejection / slippage of delivered work items and they are within the Wipro / Customer SLA’s and norms
   5. Design and timely release of test status dashboard at the end of every cycle test execution to the stake holders
   6. Providing feedback on usability and serviceability, trace the result to quality risk and report it to concerned stakeholders.

1. Status Reporting and Customer Focus on an ongoing basis with respect to testing and its execution
   1. Ensure good quality of interaction with customer w.r.t. e-mail content, fault report tracking, voice calls, business etiquette etc
   2. On time deliveries – WSRs, Test execution report and relevant dashboard updates in Test management repository
   3. Updates of accurate efforts in eCube, TMS and other project related trackers
   4. Timely Response to customer requests and no instances of complaints either internally or externally

Developer

Job Description

Common Criteria across Hyperion Planning/FDMEE profiles:

• Present options and a recommendation in the appropriate forum e.g. design working group to obtain a formal approval for any major/high-impact design decisions.
• Attend meetings with Business/Change team to understand silos, help elicit requirements/user stories, work with technical leads and to map requirements to solution in Agile fashion.
• Create, maintain and execute per project plans adapting to frequently evolving requirements and changes.
• Strong stakeholder management skills & ability to communicate & partner well at various levels of the organization including senior management.
• Should have strong knowledge on Odyssey and code deployment process using Transporter tool.
• Own the end-to-end delivery of project requirements from requirements to testing and production deployment.
• Provide 3rd level support once the project has gone live in Production for a defined time period.
• Apply Optimization techniques across all artifacts to avoid recoding.
• Should be familiar on Control-M setup Automation process.

Planning:

• Strong skillset in Hyperion Planning and Hyperion Essbase technologies.
• Basic knowledge on FDMEE and DRM technologies.
• Must skills in writing complex business rules, creating web forms, security setup, data modelling techniques.

Skills Required

• Strong analytical and logical reasoning skills.
• Should have basic understanding knowledge of Adwords and AdSense.
• Should have an eye for easily spotting the above Content on a Video.
• Strong Knowledge of Current Affairs and General Knowledge to help identifying cultural biases on Videos.
• Should know to read & write more than one regional language.
• Excellent communication skills in English
• Good knowledge of Google tools such as Chrome, Google Sheets, Docs, Slides, Drive, etc
• Basic Knowledge of Online Advertisements, Marketing strategy and Google YouTube Monetisation Policy
• Strong Time Management skills
• Good Interpersonal & People skills with a good problem-solving approach.
• Should have Customer Centric Mindset
• Any experience in Content Management Process is an added benefit.
