Position Summary

The Cloud Engineer is heavily engaged in the design, build, and implementations of technology solutions primarily leveraging services from Azure and AWS.

A Day in Community Brands

  • Collaborate directly with Development/Software Engineering and other technical and non-technical stakeholders in the design, testing, integration, and implementation of cloud hosted solution
  • Test and implement standards/design patterns to ensure compatibility and integration in cloud environments
  • Contribute to the evolution of the software development lifecycle through technology enhancements supporting continuous delivery/continuous integration pipeline
  • Test, and implement enhancements and automation capabilities for data migrations, security best practices, environment builds, and operational management standards
  • Collaborate with engineering resources with respect to emerging cloud technologies and supporting resources.
  • Support and deployment of proofs of concept and projects that are leveraging cloud technologies
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex problems
  • Build and maintain relationships across departments
  • Demonstrate knowledge of technology principles, practices, and procedures

QA Engineer

Experience: 3-5 years

Position Summary

The QA Engineer is responsible for creating, implementing and automating testing in support of software test requirements. The QA role is to develop, maintain and enhance the test automation inventory and automation infrastructure. In addition, the QA Engineer will execute and report on tests conducted and manage resulting defects, regress systems under test, assist development with replicating and debugging problems and develop new test automation solutions as needed.

A Day in Community Brands

  • Own and lead testing for a product/product line, including test strategy development, identifying risks.
  • Possess working knowledge about Agile-Scrum methodology and the ceremonies related to it.
  • Detect software failures and should possess ability to log defects in the JIRA project management tool with appropriate priority and customer impact.
  • Develop and document application test scenarios and test plans based on software requirements and technical specifications.
  • Record and document results and compare to expected results. Communicate with development and product teams regarding test outcomes that do not meet expected results.
  • Set up test environment independently and is also able to troubleshoot environmental issues.
  • Generate historical analysis of test results.
  • Provide application instructions for users.
  • Provide the stakeholders with accurate and precise estimates for assigned task duration, along with confidence levels and foreseeable dependencies.
  • Active collaboration in product planning meetings.
  • Investigate bug reports from the customer support team and distinguish data or incorrect configuration issues from software defects.
  • Document confirmed software bugs with detailed reproduction steps and outcomes around multiple variables to narrow the specific scope of the defect.

  • Experience with CRM software systems, web content management systems, membership management systems or other association software tools is a plus
  • Technical skill set should include working knowledge of MS Word, MS Outlook, MS Excel, HTML, SQL, and browser technologies.
