In this role, you will:
- Work on developing new features end to end including front-end as well as backend.

Technical
- Knowledge of software / micro services architecture.
- Excellent grasp on Core Java, J2EE technologies, C++, python, Multithreading, Collection Framework, data structure design pattern.
- Exposure to JMS, Message Oriented Middleware technologies e.g. Kafka, IBM MQ, Active MQ.
- Spring Boot & Spring Framework (Core, Batch and Integration modules, Security).
- SQL, Stored procedures, PL-SQL etc.
- PostGre SQL and ORDBMS Concepts and Hibernate framework.
- Exposure to UNIX systems commands and shell scripting.
- Exposure to Windows systems commands and batch scripting.
- Experience with development and build tools such as Eclipse, Intellij Idea, Microsoft Visual Studio, RTC, GIT, ANT, MAVEN etc.
Management
- 3 to 7 years of IT experience in successfully delivering complex technology solutions within a defined Software/Systems development lifecycle in Banking Industry.
- Experience in AGILE methodology, status reports, progress tracking, issues/risks lists, and deployment and release management.
- Excellent problem-solving, interpersonal, presentation and analytical skills.
- Strong relationship management skills with proven history in dealing with stakeholders and globally distributed project teams.
- Willingness to engage with business users and key IT stakeholders outside of direct area of responsibility and manage expectations.
- Drive platform improvement initiatives like improvement of performance, production stability
- Self-motivated, enthusiastic and proven rapid learning capability
- Experience working in fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Domain
- Exposure to Fixed Income asset classes covering bonds and derivative products.
- Strong knowledge of trade life cycle of FI products.

Java Developer

In this role, you will:
- Develop and maintain APIs & microservices in Java/SpringBoot and supporting services (AWS/PCF).
- Provide support across the end-to-end delivery and run lifecycle. Carry out software development, testing and operational support activities with the ability to move between the technology stacks.
- Advocate and advance modern software development practices within the engineering community.
- Grow the technical expertise of engineering community, helping with designing, maintaining, and improving all aspects of the software delivery lifecycle & participate in broader discussions about software architecture.
- Work with Ops, Dev and Test Engineers to ensure operational issues (performance, operator intervention, alerting, design defect related issues, etc.) are identified and addressed at all stages of a product or service release / change.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
- At least 2+ years of relevant experience
- Solid experience on engineering and delivering software products.
- Strong knowledge and development experience in Java/ Spring boot /APIs & microservices.
- Knowledge of cloud environments, being AWS a plus & Passionate about open-source ways of working
- Experience in fostering a strong engineering culture in an agile and DevOps environment.
- Experience collaborating effectively across multiple engineering centers in multiple territories.

Test Engineer – GPP Product
Experience:3+ Years

In this role, you will:
- Create test strategy and test plans for new implementation or BAU releases.
- Identify the opportunities to save the efforts and cost in testing phase and implement it.
- Understand the business requirements of GPP product and interfaces and support test engineers to create test artifacts and support in test execution.
- Ensuring that the delivery of projects into the live system meet the agreed quality expectations and are compliant with all relevant internal instructions and external regulatory requirements.
- Work closely with stakeholder to understand the project requirement and work on technical delivery.
- Ensuring that any issues, or risks, highlighted in testing are addressed in an appropriate manner, and are escalated as required.
- Ensure compliance with HSBC policy and procedures, together with early identification and effective resolution or escalation of IT control issues as they arise.
- Identifying the opportunity for automation and lead the activity till closure
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
- Hands on experience GPP product is MUST.
- Excellent knowledge and working experience in agile / scrum methodologies.
- Demonstrated ability to rapidly build relationships with key stakeholders.
- Hands on experience on Oracle DB
- Experience on Web Services (REST, SOAP).
- Good communication skill
- Knowledge of ISO 90022.
- Hands on experience on Jira and Confluence.
The successful candidate will also meet the following requirements:
- Knowledge of programming language such Java or Python
- Knowledge Automation tools like Tosca and UFT.
- Knowledge of multiple clearing systems
- Hands on experience of CI/D pipelines
