Automation Test Engineer

As an automation engineer, you will be expected to:
Identify opportunities for automation within software processes.

QA – Automation/ BDD/ Cucumber
Experience: 3-6 years
Location: Bangalore
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Analyze, Review and understand software requirement for automation testability
• Automation of System level scenarios using Cucumber and Ruby
• Create Step definitions / bindings for the feature files and validate user scenarios
• Utilize development skills, data manipulation skills and scripting skills to engineer technical, repeatable tests
• Constant research & improvement of the Automation framework
• Collaborate with Project teams on various frameworks used and effectively reuse the libraries at System level
• Ability to lead the teams and technically sound.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
• BE / B.Tech / MCA / ME / M.Tech in Computer Science, Electronics or Electrical Engineering/ with an excellent academic track record
Minimum 3 years of experience in Software Development / Automation Testing & At least 2 years of experience with Agile methodologies & Behavior Driven Development (Preferable experience in between 3-6 years overall)
PREFERRED SKILLS
• Should have hands on experience in Behavior-Driven Development & used tools like Cucumber, Rspec etc.
• Hands on experience in scripting languages (Ruby, PowerShell, Perl, Python, C# etc.)
• Strong Database skills (MySQL & SQL server)
• Experience on Multiple Test automation tool (Ruby Mine, QTP , Test Complete etc.)
• Exposure to CI / CD tools like Jenkins, Chef etc.
• Good understanding of test and defect tracking tools (defect logging tools, test management tools, versioning systems, statistical tools, performance monitoring tools, test automation tools etc.)
Quick learner for new technologies with good analytical and problem solving skills

ADDITIONAL NOTES
Resources with Safe Agile experience and Scrum Master experience where at least 1-2 resources having experience handling small scrum teams.

Product Engineer
Experience: 4+ years

Job description:
Testing:
- Responsible to coordinate the testing activities from various team hardware, mechanical, software, device, compatibility, cloud/backend and mobile apps.
- Experience in TEST AUTOMATION is added advantage, especially on Python.
- Responsible for Sanity Test, System Test, End-to-End feature test, OTA test, compatibility test and device functionality tests for various customers and projects. Ensure tests are completed and publish the report timely
- Participate in analysis of logs for any issues reported during testing .
- Support Full System test of the device FW before every factory or maintenance release that includes KPI, Performance, security, power management, state management based on ignition states, GPS, sensor and various functionalities. Ensure tests are completed and publish the report.
- Supporting vehicle compatibility testing – tracking, execution and reporting.
- Test support and live debugging support for development of new features or Change requests.
- Experience with CANoe, PCAN – CAN simulation tools
- Experience with Telematics , Automotive based products testing and Qualification.
- Strong knowledge on SOFTWARE Testing concepts
Requirement Gathering
- Collaborate with Business analysts/Product owners of Smart telematics products that are in maintenance phase and devices that are newly under development to gather new requirements and change requests.
- Connect with various stakeholders of the product for any clarification on the requirements/Expectations from device, clould, app and web portal.
- Understanding the client functional/Non Functional requirements, high level design documents provided by client
- Categorize the requirements into Must be/ should be/could be/Would be category to provide the estimation.
- Update test cases and test suites to accommodate new changes in the product.
