What you will do

As a Web developer in Fiserv., you can look forward to-

Owning one or more of the web services; adding new features, resolving bugs, and refactoring/ improving code base.
Developing new features, investigating/reproducing/resolving bugs
Designing and implementing REST APIs for web clients including our web dashboard, and 3rd party apps.
Being responsible for your merchant-facing services, features from development through deployment, and production monitoring.
Identifying technical requirements in product meetings and assisting the business team with realistic project planning and feature development.
Translating product requirements into functional, maintainable, extensible software that is in-line with company objectives.
Working with the Infrastructure Team to design data models to support large-scale highly available services.
Working with QA to develop test plans and strategies.
Writing automated tests for new features and updating existing tests as needed.
Being a team player, ability to collaborate idea sharing in a strong product setting.
Following Agile SDLC, participating in planning and Scrum ban boards.
Participating in a regular on call rotation.

What you will need to have

Basic Qualifications for consideration

Bachelor’s degree required.
Experience in web development using Javascript based development (React/Typescript)
Experience with modern web UI technologies (HTML5, CSS3)
Experience with MySQL or similar relational databases
Experience with API design
Experienced in the day-to-day practicalities of Software Development Lifecycles such as Scrum.

What would be great to have:

Frontend Javascript experience and understanding in web services, e-Commerce Platforms and high-volume transactional systems.
Experience with microservices, preferably Spring Boot
Experience with React and web programming.
Experience with a cloud platform, preferably Google Cloud
Python scripting experience
Experience writing tests, such as MochaJS and Selenium
Experience with frontend framework such as React and Ember
Experience with package management systems, such as NPM, Bower, etc.
Understanding of build systems: Grunt, Broccoli, etc.
Previous experience with Cypress framework for automation testing
Some exposure to CSS precompilers, such as Sass or Less
Complex API interactions from single page application frontend.
Experience with microservice based architectures.
Travel: Ability to travel up to 10%

What you will do:

Collaborate within a team environment in the development, testing, and support of software development project lifecycles.
Develop web interfaces and underlying business logic.
Prepare any necessary technical documentation.
Track and report daily and weekly activities.
Participate in code reviews and code remediation.
Perform and develop proper unit tests and automation.
Participate in a 24 hour on-call rotation to support previous releases of the product.
Research problems discovered by QA or product support and develop solutions to the problems.
Perform additional duties as determined by business needs and as directed by management.

What you will need to have:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering or Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
3-5 years of experience in developing scalable and secured J2EE applications.
Excellent knowledge in Java based technologies (Core Java, JSP, AJAX, JSF, EJB, and Spring Framework), Oracle SQL/PLSQL and App servers like WebLogic, JBOSS.
Excellent knowledge in SOAP & REST web service implementations.
Knowledge in UNIX environment is preferred.
Experience in JSF UI components (Oracle ADF & Rich Faces) technology is preferred.
Good analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
Good at prioritizing the tasks and commitment to complete them.
Strong team player / customer service orientation. Demonstrated ability to work with both end users and technical staff.
Ability to track progress against assigned tasks, report status, and proactively identifies issues.
Demonstrate the ability to present information effectively in communications with peers and project management team.
Highly Organized and Works well in a fast paced, fluid and dynamic environment.

What you will do in:

You will be team player and will work closely with Lead, developer & QA, Scrum Master, BA
Understanding the Software Requirements specification document.
Responsible to Test all Technical deliveries by Team By using both Manual & Automated technique.
Automation framework design and implementation according to project structure.
Creating, Enhancing, Debugging and Running Test Cases.
Develop an automated test scenario and environment for performance testing.
Organizing, monitoring defect management process Handling changes and conducting regression tests.
If the defect is found, then report it to the developer and fix it.
Where fault is found, re-test application for the cause.
Make sure the application is the free defect.
Inform & send the test report to test lead.
Participate in pre & post deployment activities.
Participate in all Scrum activities of team.

You will need to have:

2 to 5 Years of work experience in Software development or Quality Assurance Engineering
Hands-on experience in Functional/UI testing, API, and Database testing
Hands-on experience on Selenium and SOAP/REST test automation tools
Hands-on experience on Selenium + C# Automation Framework
Exposure to performance testing
Good understanding of CICD pipelines
Good communication skills
